Connection
Performance (projection), 20 minutes, 2015
Two performers never meeting each other before were invited to choreograph an improvised dance through Skype. During the performance, they were at different physical locations— Taipei and London. Via virtual means of communication, their images were live-streamed onto the physical wall of the exhibition space for twenty minutes, confronting each other to make up the dance piece. By doing so, I hope to create a metaphor of communication in our contemporary era in a poetic manner.
